Do not adjust your sets...

I hand-delivered a new project to the Today's Quilter office in Bristol a couple of weeks ago and while I was there I met my lovely friend Sarah Ashford to record an episode of her Great British Quilter podcast at Immediate Media's rather fabulous recording suite (headphones, dangly microphone, the works...).

Sarah has long been championing the work of British Quilters with her #greatbritishquilter hashtag on Instagram, corralling some of our best-known designers to create a Great British Quilter thread collection for Aurifil and creating the gorgeous new range of Great British Quilter Back to Basics blender fabrics with Dashwood (and she was generous enough to spare me some of her advance yardage so that I could include some in my new quilt). She's always brilliant company and we chatted about all sorts of things...

How a quilt with little Dresden brollies inspired a change of career...

Why my Kitchen Garden project for Today's Quilter might be my favourite so far...

Some behind the scenes shenanigans at the Festival of Quilts...

Why I love the marvellous Moda Bakeshop...

And LOTS more besides...I basically talked Sarah's ear off. You can listen to the Great British Quilter podcast on Stitcher - or on your favourite podcast app - or access it directly on Sarah's website, here. I love to listen to podcasts while I'm sewing so, if you haven't already, I hope you'll enjoy all of this season's interviews.

Happy listening:-)
