We've reached the halfway point in our expedition to the Arctic Circle, the Northern Lights block of the month programme. Here are a few snapshots of our journey so far...
Our fearless travellers have been sewing their blocks with the ravishing Cadence collection by Crystal Manning for Moda Fabrics, sharing piecing tips in the Facebook group and exploring traveller's tales of the far north on the Northern Lights blog. And I've been embarking on a little adventure of my own by creating video tutorials for each block.
We've already found a couple of souvenirs of our expedition - some Warm Heart handwarmers and the Koselig Cushion bonus pattern - and have the perfect tote bag to store our project in. Plus we've met the most handsome quilt model ever: Andrea’s horse Noorderlicht.
For those of you who weren't able to join us this year, the Northern Lights Pattern Book will be published in August, when Andrea and I will also be opening up reservations for next year's programme, which will hopefully put a spring in your step...
