A machine-pieced quilt inspired by Lucy Boston’s* Patchwork of the Crosses - one of the most treasured designs of the C20th – which includes the elements of fussy-cutting that make Lucy’s endlessly adaptable block such afavourite for fabric lovers.



62½” x 62½” Finished Quilt

48 10” squares/Fat 16ths for the blocks
2¾ yds neutral fabric for background
½ yd contrast fabric for borders (aqua)
4 yds fabric for backing
70” square of cotton batting
½ yd fabric for binding
