Lentern Rose Paper Pattern

The repeating floral motif in this quilt has always reminded me of the delicately shaded Hellebores – or Lenten Roses – that grace our flower beds in the depths of winter. Using a favourite Layer Cake makes each bloom unique.
 
MATERIALS:

69½” x 69½” Throw Quilt

Part of 1 Layer Cake or 25 10” print squares
2½ yds light contrast (cream) fabric
2 yds background fabric
1½ yds border fabric
77” square of Cotton Batting
4½ yds backing fabric
½ yd fabric for binding
